About

"Hi, I'm Nick. This is my blog, the endless stream of consciousness that always seems to be falling out of my mind. I think a lot, and I believe that my posts are pretty deep. Thanks for reading."

19:18.

but never before
has there ever been
such an outcry for god
in the name of god.
bedraggled pharisees
are completely sure of
their misinformed knowledge:
they preach intolerance
congregationalists, bigots
in the name of the antiprophet--:
the message of their
purported messiah
eschewed.
their corrupt minds are
clouded with pretense
and they are unwilling to accept
the message of tolerance
taught by their deity.
and so connotations are placed
arbitrarily; commandments rewritten.
"love thy neighbor," they teach,
"unless thy neighbor be different than thee."

This poem breathes confrontation, but a confrontation that I think the world needs to deal with. It's a very good message. top
