Two black birds sweep past the window again. 10.2.07 |

So I guess I'll inaugurate my blog with something that is currently very important to me. Auditions for The Diviners were on Thursday. Now, I'm unsure of how I did, myself, but everybody said that I was good. Anyway, Mr. Hall had two other people read for the Buddy-C. C. scene at the very end of the audition, while not letting Mark and I reread. As soon as they finished, Mr. Hall looked at Mrs. Waal and nodded, whispering "That's it, that's it...."

But then, on Friday, Mark and I were not on the callback list. I was sort of shocked--every single guy who auditioned has to get a part. I'm banking on the fact Mr. Hall had already cast Mark and I into the roles of C. C. and Buddy, respectively.

It was not a good idea to have auditions Thursday and callbacks Friday. It's making my weekend full of anxiety and nervousness.

I'm hopeful, still....
